What was once a 56,000 square foot Kroger grocery store, is now a beautiful movie theater with nine auditoriums. In order to create stadium seating in the existing one-story building, Tower Construction had to excavate down, underpin the building’s foundations and remove 8,000 cubic yards of soil.
The nine new auditoriums are equipped with the luxury recliner seating that Emagine Theaters have become known for. There is a complete concessions station and a full-service bar where you can belly up or kick back in the lush lounge seating and enjoy the warm glow of the pass-through fireplace. Construction also included a complete exterior façade renovation.
Beginning with demolition on August 1, 2014, this project was completed in just twenty-two short weeks.
"It's almost miraculous that we were able to begin construction, demolition actually, August first and open this on December 15th." Paul Glantz, CEO Emagine Entertainment.
